Uniform Fund Drive
The 2007-2008 Churchland High School Marching Band is asking for your help and support with our 2008 UNIFORM CAMPAIGN!
The award winning Marching Truckers have been entertaining, competing and parading in the same uniforms for 15 years. The current stock is out of date and no longer in good condition. They are dry-rotted, zippers broken, and buttons mismatched.
Visual design and effect are major captions in corps style marching band competitions and we simply do not feel that our current uniforms contribute to the visual program. Our students train hard in the August heat before school starts, and spend hours in after school rehearsals. They are a dedicated team of hard working musicians, and they take pride in themselves. Would you like to help us reach our goal and give these performers the chance to step out in style?
We need an inventory of 70 uniforms. At the cost of $300 each, that’s a total of $21,000! While we are doing all we can to raise the money ourselves, we are appealing to the community for help with this huge undertaking. Please consider sponsoring a uniform for an individual student or contributing as much as you are able.
If you are interested in helping us out, donating funds or even sponsoring one individual student, contact me at 757-686-2500, or send your check (made out to C.H.S.B.B.) to:
