Football Game Rules

  • Bring your black socks, shoes, gloves and orange tee-shirt for underneath uniform jacket.
  • Dinner is from 4:30 to 5:30. Bring meal, have parents drop off. NO STUDENTS will be permitted to leave the campus.
  • Be outside the band room and in arc formation promptly at 6:00 pm with instruments, equipment and full uniform.
  • Band will sit in the bleachers in sections and in a block formation. NO MOVING AROUND and NO outside members will be allowed in the band area.
  • NO DISRESPECT to chaperones, staff or volunteers. Will result in automatic removal from the game and parent contact. Any student that refuses directions will be removed by security.
  • Absolutely NO eating or drinking in uniform. Water will be provided by band boosters. Parents and friends may not bring food to you.
  • EVERY member will play the Fight Song and other stand music. 100% participation and school spirit.
  • NO leaving the bleachers unless accompanied by adult chaperone. Band members must stay in groups of 2 or more.
  • Students removed from performance due to attendance or unpreparedness must be present in orange tee-shirt to support the band and assist with equipment.
  • NO students will be dismissed after the game until all equipment and uniform are placed away and the band room is in order for instruction on Monday.

  • Bring meal or money for host school concessions. NO STUDENTS will be permitted to leave the competition site.
  • Be outside the CHS band room and in arc formation promptly at 9:00 am with instruments and equipment. Dressed in full uniform 1 hour before departure.
  • At competition site, the band will practice at the designated area and will be in formation prior to performane time.
  • After the performance, the band will change into and adhere to the dress code:
    1. Black (dark) Jeans
    2. Black shoes
    3. Orange Trucker shirt or Trucker Jacket
  • The Band will sit in the bleachers in sections and in a block formation.

  • NO students will be dismissed immediately after the competition unless prior approval from the band director ONLY.
  • Call your parents or your designated ride upon departure from the competition site so that they are waiting for you.
  • NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE UNTIL ALL INSTRUMENTS AND UNIFORM ITEMS ARE ACCOUNTED FOR AND PUT AWAY UPON RETURN TO THE BAND ROOM.


    • 1 unexcused rehearsal = removal from game performance
    2 unexcused OR excused rehearsals = parent contact and removal from performance
    3 unexcused rehearsals = removed from marching band
    3 excused rehearsals = must be reinstated by parent. Proper documentation must accompany absence dates.


    Members not up to date with band dues will NOT be issued a uniform for the performance.
