ALL Churchland Band students are encouraged to purchase SMARTMUSIC software for $30. Information can be found by clicking on the link below and viewing the video:

Important Dates and Announcements

2008/2009 schedule

• December 13: DISTRICT BAND AUDITIONS at Western Branch High School. Prepared pieces are online here.
• December 16: Christmas Concert
• March 5-7: District IV Band Festival, Great Bridge High School, Chesapeake, VA

Concert Band Attire

• Girls are required to wear long black dresses approved by the band director. You can purchase your own from Simco Formalwear (style = Motoko), or you can borrow a black dress from the uniform room. Last year, we were given several black dresses from another school. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Sizes are limited.
  
  
• Guys are required to wear a solid black suit (no pin stripes, please) with a tuxedo shirt, bow tie and cummerbund. Tuxedo's are encouraged, but not mandatory. You can purchase one online at Simco Formalwear (5 Piece Classic Tuxedo Package).
