Upcoming Events
Band Fees for 2010/2011 Marching Season
DUES must be paid in full in the amount of $175.00 by Sept. 1st. No exceptions or extension may be made outside the President and Treasurer of the Band Boosters.
These dues cover the cost of repairs (uniforms & instruments), equipment, competitions and travel etc.
New requests for a payment plan will not be considered after August 27th.
Payment plans shall adhere to the following schedule:
- Aug 27: $30
- Sept 10: $30
- Sept 24: $30
- Oct 8: $30
- Oct 22: $30
- Nov 5: $25
There may be opportunities to earn money for dues by cleaning up the stadium Saturday after games. Let Mr. Warren know if you are interested. For parents with multiple band members, please contact the band booster treasurer about a multiple-child discount.
Students with accounts that are not in good standing will not be issued a uniform.
Marching Band Tee Shirts
Tee shirts are on order and will be distributed to all marching band students upon arrival.
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Concessions at home football games. We are looking for volunteers to help out in the concession stand in fall. Please contact John Reid (phone - 560-6579) so that he can leave your name at the gate.
- PIT CREW (Assist band members moving equipment on and off of the competition field. Obtain, load, and drive rental trucks for transporting large equipment to band events)
- CHAPERONES (Ride buses and accompany students; provide adult leadership and supervision during various competitions, football games, both home and away)
- COLOR GUARD COORDINATOR (Manager color guard uniforms; issue and collect uniforms for events; coordinate cleaning, repairs and alterations; assist with flags for practice/performance, if required)
- UNIFORM COORDINATOR (Manage marching band uniforms; issue and collect uniforms for events; coordinate cleaning, repairs and alterations)
- EVENT COORDINATOR (Assist Band Director and Booster Board in coordinating various events, competitions, etc)
- TELEPHONE TREE (Coordinate communication among parents concerning meetings and/or band activities)
- WAYS AND MEANS (Plan and coordinate fundraising activities)
- HOSPITALITY (Coordinate provisions for refreshments at events, i.e., games, parades, after concerts, when hosting events at CHS)
... and many other areas.
